![]() In addition to her parents survivors include a daughter Brianna Paige Coleman of Oceana, a brother Anthony (Renee) Trent of Mississippi, her mother-in-law Thelma Coleman of Oceana, a niece Michelle Coleman of Pineville, great nieces Alyssa (Justin Brooks) McClanahan of Lynco, and Alexis (Dillon) Blankenship of Jesse, a great nephew Aric McClanahan of Pineville, brother and sister-in-law Terry and Brenda Coleman of Iaeger, cousins Hassel Lester, Josh (LeAnn) Walker of Oceana, Alexander Brooks, Arabella Brooks both of Lynco, Alivia Blankenship, Charles Blankenship, of Jesse, Misty Coleman, Cheyenne Coleman, and Jacob Coleman all of Oceana, special friends Tina Acord, Michael Acord, Hevyn Acord all of Matheny, Mikelann Hatfield, and Breana Ritchie both of Oceana, Jennifer (Avery) Toler and their children of Matheny and Darlene and Larry of Pineville, and a host of other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Coleman, a daughter Alicia Faith Coleman, a brother Alec Ray Thornsberry, and her grandparents Katherine and Alec Rose. She also enjoyed singing gospel music, and watching movies with her daughter Brianna. Jeanny liked attending church, and the Powerhouse, going on vacation and spending time with her family and friends. She was born on Decemin Welch, WV a daughter of Evelyn Kay Rose Burghy of Pineville. Jeanny Marie Coleman, 50, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Tuesday, Novemat Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home. In keeping with his wishes he will cremated following the service. Friends may gather with the family from 2 pm until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, November 6th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. In addition to his parents survivors includes two daughters, Bridget Avonelle Cozort of Glen Fork, and Megan Hope Murdock and her husband, Ray, of Oak Hill, two granddaughters, Leoma Dawn Murdock and Madilynn Rae Murdock, both of Oak Hill, a sister, Tonia Lynette Carver and her husband, Tim, of Glen Fork, and their daughters, Deana Lynn Carver and her son, Hollson Andrew Ray Bennett, of Montana, and Danae Leoma Carver of Glen Fork, two brothers, Edward Todd Cozort and his wife, Stephanie, and their daughter Jolina, of Germany Benjamin Seth Cozort and his wife, Tonya, of Barrackville, a nephew, Spencer Benjamin Cozort of South Carolina, a host of loving cousins, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ben and Magdlene Cozort, and maternal grandparents, Oma Avonelle Arnold Stewart and Coy Stewart, as well as Jack Arnold, a niece, Celene Cozort, two uncles, Lon Tilley, and Steve Stewart, and three cousins, Jason Good, Robert Estep III, and Robert Estep IV. He was a retired cross-country truck driver, former mechanic, and enjoyed woodworking. Scottie graduated from Glen Rogers High School in 1990. He was born on in Mullens, WV a son of Larry Edward and Mary Margaret Arnold Cozort of Glen Fork. Jeffrey Scott “Scooter” Cozort, 51, of Glen Fork, WV, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. ![]()
